What I check
The same spelling everywhere
Bluegum Plumbing and Blue Gum Plumbing look like two businesses to a machine.
One phone number and one address
Old numbers and old addresses on directories you forgot about are the usual culprits.
One website address
With or without www, http or https, and no old domain still listed somewhere.
Your site says it's the official one
Business name, ABN, a real contact page, and Organization schema that links to your profiles.
Google is testing a section at the top of some AI answers for official websites. It hasn't said how it picks them. Matching details are good practice either way.
