The Challenge
Mann Air-Conditioning is a residential air-conditioning business servicing customers across Canberra and the ACT. They needed a professional online presence that could showcase their services, display clear pricing, and capture enquiries directly from potential customers.
The bigger concern, though, was what happens after launch. Across the web industry, it’s common for a website to come with ongoing costs that never stop, monthly retainers, content management subscriptions, and per-change fees just to update a price, swap an image, or edit a paragraph.
For a small business, those recurring charges add up to a significant amount over the years, often far more than the website itself cost to build. The client wanted to avoid being locked into that model, and to genuinely own and control their website rather than renting it.

I designed and developed a completely bespoke website for Mann Air-Conditioning, paired with a custom-built content management system created specifically for their site.
